There are several places that you can go to buy "preps" as we used to call them.

www.beprepared.com

this is Emergency Essentials. They have a large variety of things, have sales every month. you can read their entire catalogue on line and they'll mail you one every month....it's one of my favorite things to get in the mail!

honeyvillegrain.com/index.html

this is honeyville grain. they have a lot of the stuff EE has, so you can price compare. They have periodic sales and their shipping is only 4.49 or something ridiculous like that.

www.atlanticspice.com

This is Atlantic Spice. They have TONS of things like spices and herbals that can be used medicinally. Their prices are very good. The quantities can be large so you have to think about that. I got 4 oz of vanilla beans for about $17.40......it was 24 beans. the catalogue says 24-30.....i'm assuming it depends on how big they are.

I have ordered several times from each of these places and they are reliable and prompt.

One place I love is www.lehmans.com/ "Non-Electric Catalog," originally a general store for the Amish.

To find things like medical supplies, you can also go to most dollar stores. They have an amazing amount of things. Look for medications you can use for more than one thing. I will post a list of "must have" meds later.
